The Caltex on O'Connell St is now selling E Flex. No more long drives for E 85

Orly? Nice - that has always been the problem as it was too far away but now... *strokes beard and contemplates the future upgrade path* :)

Hallelujah!

Big injectors and E85 tune here we come! :D

I would be interested to know what they charge per litre bearing in mind that outlet is known to be one of the most expensive in Adelaide.

from testing i have done previously the united E-85 is more like 86.2 % ethanol and the caltex E-85 ( E-70-E85) was an 70.7% blend, this was back in december 2010. this would seem reflected in my Evo vii with L/100km around town being about 16.5 with united and about 14.5 L/100km with caltex .

how to do test

I know im bringing this thread up from the dead but damn im stoked about the O'Connel street E85 availability. This is the only reason that tipped me over the edge to do Injectors + Pump for a dual map tune. :)

I have only run one tank of 98 through the car in 2 and a half years but it was handy to be able to get back home from Robe :)
