I have an 02 fax number for work that sends faxse straight to my inbox (for easy email forwarding etc)...

Happy to provide this and then forward any that come via email.

I'll leave it with Paul and he can post it if this is an idea that people are okay with (going to be on the road with work for the next few days...)

Only hassle is that it's an 02 number.

If 2 people are driving the same car does that double the cost ie $240, or is there a cheaper option?

we had to pay 2ce. you just fill in two forms but with the same car details, but make a note that you are sharing.

Please see the supp regs. You can have 2 drivers for the same car. We will allocate drivers to different groups.
Both drivers will get the same full session track time as individual entries.
As you are a MGEC Member, the entry fee for you is $100, plus $20 for a day licence if you don't have a CAMS one.
If the other driver is not a member of any car club, he/she would need the $140 package.

Thanks Kaz !
Paul will be custodian of the entries and master list. (Membership official and Treasurer)
Thanks a lot , Paul
Documents have been updated and we will make sure any entries already on the way find their way to Paul.

I will be there if the car hasn't sold. Car has had a faultless run since last time with the injector failure so looking forward to a full day of racing :) *touch wood*

I'm new to the forums here, and will be there as an official.
Previously have been an official at the Austin 7 Regularity/Superkarts/SCC meets etc - my first time with this club.

A couple of pointers:
a) Whatever clothing you do wear, try to wear a colour other than light brown. There have been a couple of times where the flag marshals have queried if the driver has their sleeves rolled up. If there is a doubt, you can be called into the pits to check. If your clothing is easily visible, then you may save yourself an unnecessary visit to the pits.
Denim jeans should be OK.

b) Helmet needs to meet AS1698 - and have a label saying so.
More details here... http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/0604_0701.pdf

c) Fire extinguisher needs to meet AS1841, be at least 900g in capacity and be secured to be able to withstand a force of 25G - a plastic holder really isn't good enough. If you are in an incident, the last thing you want to have to worry about if where the fire extinguisher is going to end up - helmet or not. Same thing for any camera etc.
Details here..http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/0608_0701.pdf

d) KNOW THE FLAGS. Details here..http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/0707_0701a.pdf

e) Make sure your car is in good nick. On the track it will be pushed quite a bit harder than on the road

f) Enjoy the day. You are not out there competing for sheep stations.

Is someone able to tell me where I can get the helmet I need? my fire extinguisher is ex-lewis and held by a metal holder but i doubt it would hold 25kg of force!
Who can look at it before the track day?

try autosport...

try mounting the bracket on passenger side up near center console or infront of the seat. simply bolt into the floor.

I got a simple helmet from Honda World (motorcycles) for a good price. Was discontinued model, but fully approved to the Aust Std. This was a few years ago. $95 new.

Sanjay, the helmets that we got as a sar group buy a couple of years ago were all applicable weren't they? (mine is open faced is that an issue?)

i am registering interest but will not know until closer to the date depending on my car circumstances.

I have also not been out on the track before. But can't wait! and hope i can make it out.
