WARNING! Octane booster Oxidises Paint

Postby Siggo on Fri May 13, 2005 6:30 pm

Just to let people know that the label really means it when it says "don't get on paintwork and wash off immediately if you do."

I split raw NULON PRO OCTANE BOOSTER on my white paintwork and left it for a few days.
Paint got yellow pink stain that can't be removed.

Not really mate, it actually oxidises the paint quite deeply. I cut some out with cutting compound but got to the stage where paint was so thin the black bumper plastic was beginning to show through.
