just curious, where can you get one, iv ask Iron Chef if its possible import one, but he said NO

PS. Not plannig to buy one,

just asking out of curiosity :D

You can't import them for road use, but surely for rally/race only.

wats the diff between RS and normal that one catford shown has AC, power windows and brembos

I would say it was optioned that way. big difference is no AYC, just a mech. rear diff. I may also have no ABS and if its like my 7 it should have a quicker steering rack

You could option many RS Evos from factory, however the I believe the 9RS comes with all those items, most owners remove AC.

You will struggle to find one any cheaper in Australia as they can only be imported for race/rally. Most local ones are already fitted out with all the stuff needed to race so have had big $$$ already spent on them and that will be reflected in the price. 9 GSR's are going for about $20,000 - $28,000 (depending on km's and condition) in Japan + shipping and fees (around $25k - $35k for a GSR landed for Race/Rally). As the 9 rs is a little harder to find I would think they would sell for more but best to speak to someone like Kristian at Iron Chef to get better scope on this.

...45k and you cant drive it on the read? I would like to meet that propeller head who cashes out 45k on that...

Isnt there a GT version as well? NO AYS, close ratio 5 speed, mech rear diff, nice interior...
