Emergency Help!. The car eats ECU's

Postby Real_Performance on Thu Jun 16, 2011 8:25 am

Now it's like this that the car has eaten up two ECUs for me

These are the components that go. Talked to a guy WHO said it Could be idling valve That is the problem
And put the new box and the car runs again. But after a while, so eating the box again. When I tried to connect the idling valve when I just started the car with the new box so it did no difference whatever kind it was.

When the box was the first time it started to overheat and the car became jerky in time When I was out driving and then turn the whole fuel pump stopped being alive. Someone who has an eye on what these components controls? Or someone who has a wiring diagram of just the box?

I have come to the conclusion that there is Pin 18 which is idle servo 6 that causes trouble.

What is the idle servo 6 to?

you asked the question "What is the idle servo 6 to?" I answered try the idle speed control....

you need to get a multi meter and unplug the idle speed control.....then put one end of the meters cables to the pin 18 in the harness that connects to the ecu.

take the other multi meter cable and touch it to the connectors in the idle peed control plug......until you find the wire that has continuity. the you will know "what is the idle servo 6 to"
