Electric windows

Postby jimmyratsbreath on Thu Feb 11, 2010 10:09 am

Before I start taking things apart.I opened Drivers window and the switcth didnt turn off, had to do it manually. Now window wont go up unless I pull it up or help it by pushing up with the power switch on. It goes down no worries but the switch still doesnt turn off at the bottom setting. Also unless I prop the glass with some wood I can push the glass down to the bottom.
So do I need a new switch and a new regulator or can it be something minor like a plastic cog.Cheers in advance for your help gentlemen
I hate it when things are only sorta half broken.Give me broken or not any day

Similar thing happened to me,
was simply a plastic cog/"catcher" that broke off on the underside of the switch.
Hopefully its as easy as that for you too!!
