Dash Lights Not Working

Postby kane on Sat Jul 26, 2008 5:46 pm

Was mucking around with the wiring of my aftermarket gauge when I short circuited it, resulting in my dash lights not working.

I check the fuse, (gauges) as labelled on the fuse box and it's not blown, I also swapped it with another and still no good.

I then checked all the other fuses and also the fuses in the engine bay.

What have I missed. I checked for power at the dimmer switch and it reads 0 volts.

you dont have the dimmer wound all of the way off..? cause it definatly sounds like a fuse...
horsepower is nopt proportioal to the cross-sectional area of your exhaust tip...

The dimmer isnt even recieving power to begin with, but yes I have turned it all the way left, and then right, still no good.

I know it deffinatley sounds fuse related but the electrical manuals I have downloaded I dont think cover the GSR...
