MGEC Cup Round 8
Sunday, 1st November 2009
Motorkhana

Venue: Big W Distribution Centre at Monarto.

The Motorkhana will be held at BIG W Monarto. It's only a 40 minute drive from Adelaide. Take the freeway to the Monarto off ramp (well sign-posted) turn left and Big W is a few hundred metres on your right. (If you come to a railway line you've gone too far).

You will need a CAMS license and proof of a car club membership. Both can be arranged on the day. Only $25 entry per person.

No special equipment needed eg helmet, just a roadworthy car and some enthusiasm.

Scrutineering starts at 9.30 am with competition starting at 10.20 am.

Motorkhana's are low in speed and high in thrills, as well as being an enjoyable way to make new friends in a familiar setting - usually a carpark!

The aim of the motokhana is to manoeuver your car as quickly as possible through the selected sequence. It is easy to get confused if you are not familiar with the motorkhana patterns! Hitting markers or going the wrong way will incur a penalty.

Last chance to get MGEC Cup Motorkhana Points for the series, points for jam!

Motorkhana entry - complete both pages & fax to (08) 8364 4431

Supp regs available NOW.

It was a warm day at yesterday's Motorkhana, and such a fun event to do! With only 15 cars entered we were forced to run a few difficult courses, which was too much for some. We finished early and were back into the city by 2.30pm.

My TJ Magna pulled out all the moves, under steer, torque steer, fuel surge, stretched handbrake, tyre roll, and a half eaten pie even rolled out from under the seat!

Raun and Matt also look to have a bit of fun, :D both attracting their fair share of commentary from on lookers
